What We're Doing

We are an active team of volunteers working to ensure that our elected officials consider the voice of rural Orange County when making key decisions. We want to increase public awareness of the importance of our rural treasures. We welcome your help and ideas on all of them. Here's some of the things we are working on:

• Working with the Orange County Commissioners to pursue a better alternative to siting a waste transfer station (WTS) in the rural county.
• Researching options to improve zoning, environmental, and natural resource protections in our land use ordinances.
